The Executive Board

The Executive Board is collectively responsible for ensuring that the Senate is fulfilling its obligations to the student body. Each role has position-specific duties outlined in the TCU Constitution and Senate Bylaws.

TCU President

The President sets the agenda and presides over all meetings of the full Senate body and the Executive Board. They meet regularly with administrators, including President Monaco, and serve as the main point of contact between the Tufts administration and students.

krystal mutebi

TCU Vice president

The Vice President chairs the General Board, composed of all Senate committee chairs, and meets with administrators alongside the President. They facilitate project work, student-faculty committee placements, and other internal operations. The Vice President assumes the duties of the President if the latter is absent.

dhruv sampat

TCU Treasurer

The Treasurer chairs the Allocations Board and is chief executive of the $2 million Treasury funded by the Student Activity Fee. They oversee the annual budgeting of over 300 clubs as well as supplemental funding. The Treasurer holds office hours every weekday to assist student groups with financial matters, and cannot vote on the appropriation of funds.

TCU Parliamentarian

The Parliamentarian oversees resolution writing, chairs the Rules Committee, and facilitates debate on resolutions, bylaw amendments, and other issues as necessary. The Parliamentarian cannot vote or have an opinion on issues debated by the Senate.

aniyah Perry

TCU Historian

The Historian oversees attendance and takes minutes at weekly Senate meetings. They are responsible for tracking the progress of projects, maintaining the Senate archive, and providing support for new senators. The Historian is responsible for communicating on behalf of the Senate to the other branches of student government and other outside entities.

TCU diversity officer

The Diversity Officer chairs the Community & Diversity Committee comprised of representatives from the Identity-Based Centers and other communities. The Diversity Officer advocates for more inclusive opportunities and support for underrepresented or marginalized communities.
