Ethan VanGosen

A’25 - He/Him

TCUJ Chair

Ethan is a senior from Wilmette, Illinois (north of Chicago) majoring in Biology and Biotechnology. He works in a microbiology lab at the Tufts University School of Medicine researching a type of pneumonia. In his free time, he likes learning how to play chess, buying stuff, and watching/reading all things cyberpunk/dystopian (ie. Blade Runner, Dune).

Jacob Ackiron

Jacob is a junior from the Bay Area, California majoring in Political Science. On campus, he’s involved in Tufts Democrats, Jumbovote, and the Pre-Law Society. In his free time he loves to bike, surf, and skateboard.

Nick Dahlen

A’27 - He/Him

TCUJ Recognition Chair

Nick is a sophomore from Portsmouth, New Hampshire majoring in Classical Studies and Physics. He is involved in the Quiz Bowl Team, the Society of Physics Students, the Tufts Legacy Project, the Stand Up Comedy Collective, and the Chess Club, but you can most reliably find him debating nonsense in the Simpson House common room.

Kazi Begum

A’26 - She/her

TCUJ Re-Recognition Chair

Kazi is a junior from Danbury, Connecticut majoring in English and minoring in Cognitive and Brain Science. On campus, she is an intern for the Asian American Center, Writing Fellow for the StAAR Center, as well as a Peer Leader for the FIRST Center and Asian American Center. In her free time, she’ll probably be writing poetry, bothering her orange cat, or meticulously curating another Spotify playlist.

Andrew Menjin

A’26 - He/Him

TCUJ Treasurer

Andrew is a junior from South Boston, Massachusetts, double majoring in International Relations and Religion. He’s in his second year as an Affairs and Research Intern with the U.S. National Park Service, researching the relationship between indigenous tribes and the U.S. In his free time he likes to go out with friends, sleep, and play games.
