Class of 2027 Senator (2 Seats)

Seray Ajei

Hello everyone! My name is Seray Ajei, and I am excited to run as your Class of '27 Senator! As a transfer student, I understand how important strong, approachable support systems are for feeling socially and academically secure. As your Class of 2027 Senator, my goal is to be a supportive bridge between you and the Senate, making sure your voices are heard and acted on. As TCU’s Undergraduate Representative on the Trustees’ Student Affairs Committee, I’ve helped lead community-building events like the Autumn Banquet for students who couldn’t return home over Thanksgiving break. My goal is to expand these efforts as a Senator.

As Senator, I plan to establish more fun and memorable traditions, including a traditional yearbook that brings together artists, club underclassmen and seniors, to create personalized keepsakes of our time here. I aim to establish department-led trips to research conferences, giving prospective majors a clearer sense of work in the field. Finally, I plan to organize multiple events to support communities that are still finding their footing on campus, such as freshmen and transfers. I would be grateful for your support and the chance to build upon the achievements of our former senators. Thank you!

From introducing ice cream toppings to the dining halls, to institutionalizing a second semester club fair, to securing deep cleans of gross gym weights, my goal as a class rep has always been to proactively advocate for the student body. I’ll continue giving my all in order to make campus happier, and I’d love to better understand your wants, so please reach out!!
