TCU Judiciary (TCUJ) (3 Seats)
grant asgarian
I’m running for TCU Judiciary because I want clubs at Tufts to continue to thrive. TCU Judiciary might not sound like the most exciting part of student government, but it’s actually the one that helps organizations get recognized and stay active. Whether it’s helping a new club get off the ground or making sure constitutions are followed, I want to be part of keeping that process fair and supportive.
Asher caplan
To prospective voters and members of the Tufts University family, my name is Asher Caplan and I am running for the TCUJ. I am a first year in the combined degree program with SMFA and am planning to major in Economics. I am passionate about creating communities in which everyone feels as though they have a seat at the table. In my free time I love to lift weights, listen to music, and cheer for the Philadelphia Eagles (Go Birds).
If elected to be a member of the judiciary branch of the TCU I would make it my goal to ensure that every organization is represented on campus in a manner that is fair and just. The Tufts campus community deserves to have student-led organizations that are passionate and genuine. As a member of the judiciary I would foster an environment in which more students were able to get involved in this community either through starting a club, or getting funding to accomplish the goals of their organization.
Vote Asher Caplan for the TCUJ!
jack fucci
Hello, my name is Jack Fucci and I am running for the TCU Judiciary. I chose to run for the Judiciary because of how passionate I am for what this position has to offer: reading, interpreting, and decision making. I am in awe of TCU’s legal framework and have already familiarized myself with it. I take pride in my ability to make impartial judgments, and I assure you that my personal politics will never interfere with my duties. This is my first time running for student government, and I hope my candidacy will inspire others to start new clubs or revive old ones. The TCU is home to hundreds of amazing student organizations, but there is always room for more. No matter how niche or broad the subject, clubs of all types are essential to promoting unity in our community. The research shows that people participate in clubs less often than in the past, and as a result, we have grown more divided and isolated. People need people, and clubs are the medium that allow for that. I love the mission of this position, and I hope I can earn your support.

Hey Jumbos! My name is Jia Ross Nicdao, and I’m a freshman running to be one of your representatives on the TCU Judiciary. If elected, I promise to lead with P.I.N.K: Purpose, Inclusivity, Neutrality, and Kindness. I will approach every decision with intention, always keeping in mind what best serves our student body, and push for action that creates meaningful change. I will work to ensure every voice is heard and valued, creating a Judiciary that truly reflects our diverse community while collaborating with student organizations that share this mission. I will remain impartial and fair and commit to hearing every situation fully before making decisions. I also believe empathy and respect are essential to leadership. My goal is to build a Judiciary that fosters trust, strengthens student organizations, and amplifies the diverse voices of Tufts. I’m prepared to bring my experiences as Student Council President and Youth Congress Senator to serve this campus with both fairness and compassion. Whether you’ve seen my posts online or my name chalked on the sidewalk, know that I am committed to representing you with integrity and care, so vote for me and let’s get work done!
