I’m running for TCU Senate because I care deeply about making student life at Tufts more accessible, practical, and responsive to what students actually need day to day. Through my time engaging with Senate initiatives and thinking about campus improvements, I’ve become especially interested in how small, tangible changes can make a big difference in people’s daily lives.
One of the biggest things that motivates me is identifying gaps in student resources and finding realistic ways to fill them. For example, I’ve spent time thinking about how shared resources—like cleaning supplies in dorms or accessible essentials in multiple buildings—could be implemented in a way that’s both convenient and sustainable. I’m also interested in improving how students access everyday necessities, whether through smart locker systems, better distribution methods, or more thoughtful placement of resources across campus.
Beyond specific ideas, I want to be someone who listens closely to students and turns feedback into action. I know that a lot of frustrations on campus come from things that feel small but add up quickly, and I want to focus on those quality-of-life improvements that often get overlooked. I’m also committed to making Senate feel more transparent and approachable, so students feel like their concerns are actually heard and addressed.
Overall, I’m running because I want to contribute to a campus environment that is more supportive, efficient, and student-centered. I’m excited about the opportunity to take ideas I’ve already been thinking about and work collaboratively to turn them into real, tangible changes.
